Efficiency Through Automation & Controls
Incentives, Recommissioning & Smarter Building Operations
Today’s commercial buildings contain more technology, controls, sensors, and automated systems than ever before. Yet many properties are not taking full advantage of the financial incentives, control strategies, and new technologies available to reduce operating costs and improve building performance.
Efficiency Through Automation & Controls is a one-hour continuing education course designed for commercial real estate professionals, property managers, building engineers, facility managers, owners, and industry partners.
The program brings together three distinct areas of building efficiency: EV charging infrastructure incentives, lighting controls recommissioning, and mechanical system controls and automation.
Attendees will learn about current incentive opportunities available to Utah commercial properties, why existing building control systems should be periodically recommissioned, and what property managers should be doing today to ensure their building automation and mechanical systems are operating efficiently.
The objective is to provide practical, actionable information that can help property professionals reduce operating expenses, improve building performance, better manage capital expenditures, enhance occupant experience, and identify opportunities for available incentive funding.
